My mother-in-law introduced me to this recipe. It is a keeper! The kids love it and so do the adults! And it helps when planning for a dinner party, because it can be made the night before.

Ingredients For party potatoes

5 c

instant mached potatoes
4 c

water
2 c

milk
1 stick

margarine
1 1/2 tsp

salt
1 tsp

garlic salt
4 tsp

chives (fresh or dehydrated), optional
1 pkg

cream cheese (8 oz)
1 c

sour cream

How To Make party potatoes

Bring water, salt, margarine and milk to a biol; remove from heat and add potatoes. Add remaining ingredients and beat well. Place in a greased 9x13 inch casserole dish. Sprinkle with paprika if desired. Refrigerate overnight. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Enjoy!
