We love these little red potatoes because they are easy and fast to prepare. They are also delicious seasoned with a decadent sauce of butter, garlic and dill. Enjoy! The photo is my own. Recipe courtesy of Vi Neiding.

Ingredients For bonnie's herbed new potatoes

  • enough red potatoes for 4
  • 1
    tablespoon butter softened
  • 1
    tablespoon sour cream
  • 1/2
    teaspoon dill weed
  • 2
    teaspoons minced chives
  • 1/4
    teaspoon salt
  • 1/8
    teaspoon pepper
  • squeeze of lemon juice

How To Make bonnie's herbed new potatoes

    PREPARE THE POTATOES If the potatoes are large, quarter or cut them in half. If they are small, peel a strip of peeling from around the potato, leaving the rest of the skin on. Place in a sauce pan and cover with water, bring to a boil, lower heat to simmer for about 20 minutes or until done but not falling apart.

    MAKE THE SAUCE In a small bowl, combine all the remaining ingredients and mix well. Set aside.

    SERVE Drain the hot potatoes, add the sauce and toss gently and place in a serving bowl. Enjoy!
