Ingredients For baked macaroni and cheese

  • 8 oz
    pkg of shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz
    pkg of mild shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz
    pkg shredded monterey jack cheese
  • 2 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp
    paprika
  • 1 can
    evaporated milk
  • 1 stick
    butter
  • italian bread crumbs
  • 1 lb
    macaroni noodles

How To Make baked macaroni and cheese

    Boil a large pot of water. Pour in macaroni noodles and cook until tender. Drain and place in large baking dish. Add butter cut up into pieces to macaroni. Season with salt, pepper and paprika. Add two tablespoons of evaporated milk to noddles. Set aside.

    In medium saucepan melt all cheeses with can of milk until cheese is completely melted. DO NOT leave cheese unattended because it will burn. Pour over noodles and stir unitl well mixed.

    Sprinkle bread crumbs onto top of macaroni and if desired add cheese to top crust. Bake in oven preheated to 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until crust is a golden brown.
