Ingredients For southwest salsa bowl

    round, seedless watermelon
  • 1
    chips
  • lime (for garnish)
  • FIRE AND ICE SALSA
  • 3 c
    seeded and chopped watermelon
  • 1/2 c
    green peppers (chopped)
  • 2 Tbsp
    lime juice
  • 1 Tbsp
    chopped cilantro
  • 1 Tbsp
    green onion (chopped)
  • 1 to 2 Tbsp
    jalapeno peppers (chopped)

How To Make southwest salsa bowl

  • 1
    Choose round seedless watermelon. Wash watermelon and pat dry. Use dry erase marker to trace design around middle of watermelon. Use utility knife to carve design (copy design in photo).

    Split watermelon in half, and use scoop to carve out flesh. Combine salsa ingredients; mix well and cover. Refrigerate 1 hour or more. Fill bowl with salsa ingredients Garnish with chips, jalapenos, cilantro and lime.
