Ingredients For orange pineapple topping

  • 1 can
    20 ounce - pineapple chunks
  • 1 Tbsp
    each - brown sugar & granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    orange juice
  • 1 1/4 Tbsp
    corn starch
  • 1 tsp
    ground ginger
  • 1 tsp
    orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp
    orange extract - optional

How To Make orange pineapple topping

  • 1
    Place all ingredients in a saucepan, cook and stir until sauce boils & thickens. Cool, then server over ice cream or cake, or anything else you can think of... Yummy! Serving later over ice cream.
