When I was single, I invited my boyfriend to dinner. I served fish. He wanted tartar sauce but I had none as I don't like it. I threw this together for him. He loved it. I still hate tartar sauce but my husband says this is really good. And no the boyfriend is not the man I married.

Ingredients For tartar sauce

  • 1 c
    mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    pickle relish, sweet
  • 1 tsp
    lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp
    cream of tartar
  • dash
    garlic powder

How To Make tartar sauce

    Combine all ingredients.

    Mix well.

    Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
