My Momma's recipe for tartar sauce. She made this whenever Daddy fried fish! She also made hushpuppies and cole slaw to go along with the meal. This was our favorite Friday night supper.

Ingredients For tartar sauce

  • 1 c
    good mayonnaise, such as kraft or hellman's
  • 2 - 2 1/2 Tbsp
    sweet pickle relish according to taste
  • 1 sm
    onion, grated
  • 1/2 Tbsp
    horseradish

How To Make tartar sauce

  • 1
    Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Chill for at least 30 minutes.
