Fall and around the holidays is a great time to make this. You probably have all the ingredients after Thanksgiving. Not only can you serve this to your guests, but you can give this as gifts.

Ingredients For cranberry apple chutney

  • 1 Tbsp
    vegetable ol or canola oil
  • 1 sm
    onion, diced
  • 2
    stalks celery
  • 1
    bag (12oz) fresh cranberries
  • 1
    green apple, peeled and diced
  • 1 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1 stick
    cinnamon

How To Make cranberry apple chutney

  • 1
    Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a saucepan over medium heat and cook the onions and celery for 5 minutes or until tender
  • 2
    Add the remaining ingredients, stir, cover and simmer for 25 minutes, stirring occasionally while cooking.

    Can in a hot water bath to preserve or give as gifts in decorative small jar.
