Ingredients For carmel apple jam

  • 6 c
    peeled &diced apples
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 1/2 tsp
    butter
  • 1 pkg
    1&3/4 oz.fruit pectin
  • 3 c
    white sugar
  • 2 c
    packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1/4 g
    ground nutmeg

How To Make carmel apple jam

  • 1
    combine apples water & butter cook and stir over low heat until apples are soft.
  • 2
    Stir in fruit pectin and bring to a boil stirring add sugar and spices. Return to boil for 1 min.stirring. Remove from heat skim foam ladle into hot jars leave 1/4 " headspace

    waterbath canner 10 mins. Jelly jars 4 or 8 oz.
