Ingredients For creamed eggs on toast

  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1 Tbsp
    cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt - to taste
  • 1/8 tsp
    pepper - to taste
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 3 - 6
    hard boiled eggs - chopped
  • 3 - 6
    slices buttered toast

How To Make creamed eggs on toast

    Form a rue by melting the butter and blending in cornstarch, salt and pepper.

    Gradually add the milk, bring to a gentle boil and cook for 2 minutes. Stirring constantly.

    Gently stir in the eggs.

    Serve on buttered toast.
