Great tasting sauce with just a good hint of spice and tartness. I make this for Thanksgiving and Christmas every year and always hope to have some leftover just for me and the turkey! Try it and you won't regret it.

Ingredients For spiced whole cranberry sauce

  • 1 pkg
    whole fresh cranberries, 12oz.
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/4 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1/8 tsp
    ginger powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 2 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice

How To Make spiced whole cranberry sauce

    In a medium sauce pan combine all ingredients.

    Bring to a boil on stove then reduce heat to low and simmer 10 minutes til all berries have popped open. Mixture will thicken while cooking, remove from heat & cool.

    Pour in sealable containers and keep in refrigerator. Sauce will thicken naturally when cooled. Enjoy
