My ex sister in law made this one night when our family got together to play cards and it became a card playing tradition. It's so easy and I almost always have the ingredients in the house so it works for drop in guests also.

Ingredients For kathy's taco dip

  • 8 oz
    sour cream
  • 1 lb
    hamburger
  • 1 pkg
    taco seasoning mix
  • 1 can
    refried beans
  • 1 jar
    green taco sauce
  • 3 c
    sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1
    bag tortilla chips

How To Make kathy's taco dip

  • 1
    Brown hamburger. Add taco seasoning; mix well with refried beans. Layer in oblong cake pan. Mix sour cream and green taco sauce and put in as second layer.

    Grate cheese and top off. Cook 20 minutes at 350 degrees until warm and bubbly.
