My good friend Mary, made this for us about 8 years ago and everyone loved it. She gave me the recipe and I have been making it ever since.I usually have to double the recipe when we have a large crowd, because everyone loves it so much!! I hope you will enjoy it too.

Ingredients For mary's cheese dip

  • 1 2lb box
    velveeta cheese,cut into cubes
  • 1 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 lb
    jimmy dean sage or maple sausage
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1 jar
    pace picante sauce
  • 1 can
    rotelle tomatoes
  • 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 2 family s pkg
    tostitos scoops

How To Make mary's cheese dip

  • 1
    Place cubes of velveeta in a crock pot on high.
  • 2
    Brown ground beef in a pan, drain and add to velveeta. Do the same with the Jimmy Dean sausage.

    Add in cream of mushroom soup,picante sauce,rotelle tomatoes and garlic powder.

    Cook on high for about 20 minutes,stirring frequently.Turn down to medium or low for about 20 more minutes.Serve in bowls with Tostitos Scoops.Enjoy!!
