ok this one is another from my husband. He makes this he has to make double batch because it will not last long. so I will write as he makes it so remember this will feed a hungry crowd.

Ingredients For dad's tuna and egg salad

  • 2 lg
    cans of tuna in water drained well
  • 6 lg
    hard boiled eggs cooled and peeled
  • 2 stick
    of fresh celery chopped finely
  • 4 Tbsp
    mayonnaise(your preference)
  • 2 Tbsp
    spicey brown mustard(your preference)
  • 1 md
    onion finely chopped
  • 1/4
    each,black pepper,salt, italian seasoning,basil,
  • 1/2 sm
    bell pepper diced small(go easy on this or omit)

How To Make dad's tuna and egg salad

    you will need one large and one small mixing bowl. He prefers my glass pyrex. a large mixing spoon,one knife to chop and dice. and one paring knife to slice up the eggs

    in large bowl drop in the drained tuna,the celery,onion,pepper,mayo,mustard and all of the seasonings. mix well

    in small bowl with small knife slice thickly your eggs, then with a fork cut up into chunks. pour all of this into your tuna and mix well.

    cover with a air tight lid or tightly wrap with cling wrap and let chill for one hour. stir well and chill 30 mins more. serve on sandwiches,lettuce leaves,sliced or stuff a tomato. you can make some pasta of your choice as well and toss with the tuna salad to make a pasta tuna for church suppers or picnics
