This is my grandfather's recipe from when he was stationed in Germany.

Ingredients For german potato salad

  • 6
    potatoes, peeled, cut, and boiled
  • 4 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 Tbsp
    apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp
    yellow mustard
  • 1 1/2 c
    mayonaise
  • 1
    white onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tsp
    salt
  • 1 Tbsp
    pepper
  • 1/2 tsp
    paprika

How To Make german potato salad

  • 1
    Mix together olive oil, vinegar, mustard, and mayonnaise in a medium bowl.

    Add salt, pepper, and paprika to sauce, and mix well.

    Add potatoes to sauce and mix together.
  • 4
    Add onions to potato salad and mix together.
  • 5
    Top off with a sprinkle of paprika.
