poor folks' dressing (coleslaw)

Recipe by

I found this recipe among my grandmother's recipes. It looks like it had been cut from an old magazine - very old, from the yellowing of the paper! It states it is for use as a coleslaw dressing, although I imagine it could be used as a sweet dressing on lettuce. I have not tried it myself, as I am not really a coleslaw (or sweet dressing) fan, so don't know if it is tasty or not so tasty. But, I am posting it because I was intrigued by the name! If you try it, let me know what you think!
