Ingredients For pea and corn salad

  • 1 can
    (16 oz.) le suer peas
  • 1 can
    (16 oz.) white corn
  • 1 sm
    jar chopped pimentoes
  • 1 c
    chopped celery (3 ribs)
  • 1 c
    chopped bell peppers
  • 1 bunch
    green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 c
    vinegar
  • 1 tsp
    water
  • 1/2 c
    vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp
    each: salt and pepper
  • 1 c
    sugar

How To Make pea and corn salad

  • 1
    Put the vinegar, water, vegetable oil, salt, pepper, and sugar into a pan and bring to a boil. When the sugar dissolves, remove pan from heat and cool.

    Drain the peas, corn, and pimentoes and add to the celery, peppers, and green onions.

    Pour cooled liquid mixture over the other ingredients. Put into the refrigerator and chill for 24 hours.
