There is a running argument in my family whether to call this a salad or a dessert! In either case, everyone agrees it is delicious!

Ingredients For jello pretzel salad

  • CRUST:
  • 2 c
    pretzel sticks, broken into pieces
  • 3/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 3 tsp
    sugar
  • FILLING:
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 8 oz
    cool whip
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 pkg
    strawberry jello
  • 2 pkg
    frozen strawberries
  • 2 c
    boiling water

How To Make jello pretzel salad

    CRUST: Mix together and press into 9x13 glass baking dishe. Bake at 400 for 8 minutes. Cool.
  • 2
    FILLING: Mix the cream cheese and sugar. Fold in the Cool Whip and spread over pretzels. Refrigerate while making topping.
  • 3
    TOPPING: Dissolve the jello in boiling water and add frozen strawberries. Let stand for 10 minutes. Pour over the cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate overnight.
