I haven't made this recipe yet, but I thought it was different than the regular lime, raspberry, etc jello molds we all make for the holidays and I thought it sounded perfect for Thanksgiving. Enjoy!

Ingredients For autumn jello mold

    envelopes unflavored gelatin
  • 2 1/2 c
    apple juice
  • 1/4 c
    light brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 c
    pear nectar
  • 1/4 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 1
    small pear, chopped
  • 1
    small apple, chopped
  • 6
    dried calimyrna figs, quartered
  • 1/4 c
    chopped pecans or walnuts(optional)

How To Make autumn jello mold

    Sprinkle gelatin over 1 cup apple juice in a medium saucepan. Let stand for 1 minute. Stir until gelatin is completely dissolved over low heat. Approximately 5 minutes. Stir in sugar until dissolved.

    Blend remaining 1 1/2 cup apple juice, pear nectar, gelatin mixture, and spices in a large bowl. Chill and stir occasionally for about 60 minutes or until mixture is consistency of unbeaten egg whites. Fold in pear, apple, figs, and nuts. Pour into a 6 cup mold. Chill for 3 hours or until firm.

    Unmold onto a pretty platter.
