This is our familys' favorite salad. My mother makes this for all of our family holidays and gathering. She has pasted this down to me (being the only daughter).

Ingredients For acini pepe macaroni salad

1 lb. boxacini pepe macaroni - cooked according to package
-
2 lg. cancrushed pineapple (drained - keep the juice)

2 lg. canmanarin oranges (drained)
-
1 lb. pkgcolored marshmallows
-
12 oz. lgcool whip
-
1 csugar
-
3egg yolks
How To Make acini pepe macaroni salad

1Put Cooked macaroni and pineapple into a large bowl.

2In a Small saucepan, add sugar and pineapple juice, bring to a boil.

3Take eggyolks, and slowly add a tablespoon of hot juice to the yolks... dont curdle the eggs. Add the yolks to the hot juice slowly. Then pour over the pasta and pineapple. Place in refridge. over night.

4Before serving add the remaining ingredients. mix well. Note: this is a very large salad and is very easy to make half recipe.
