I love this detergent. You can adjust the amounts to make the detergent more concentrated if you like. *I usually stir it pretty often, if you don't it will get chunky* *Add 1 ounce of essential oil to add any smell of your choice*

Ingredients For homemade laundry detergent

1/3 Barfels naptha or other type of soap

1/2 cwashing soda (arm and hammer)

1/2 cborax powder

1 Largebucket

3-4empty laundry detergent containers
How To Make homemade laundry detergent

1Grate the soap and put it into a saucepan.

2Add 6 cups of hot water and stir until the soap thoroughly melts.

3Add the washing soda and borax and stir until it is dissolved.

4Remove from heat.

5Add 4 cups of hot water to your bucket and add your soap mixture. Stir.

6Add 1 gallon plus 6 cups of water and stir.

7Let it sit for 24 hours so it can gel.
