this quilt i made for my husband, being i had made quite a few of them, and we were yet to have one, you can't see it in this photo, but there is also a wall hanging of the same quilt, hanging on the wall at the foot of the bed, plus the curtain valances have a log cabin square in the center of them.

How To Make log cabin quilt

1select your pattern, with rotary cutter, cut your fabric to size, arrange your pieces, in the order they should be, sew together, place quilt backing on your quilters frame, layer quilt batting, then your quilt top, pin layers together at random locations, remove from frame, quilt in the design that most appeals to you, finish off with your binding, settle back for years of enjoyment.
