Ingredients For turkey skillet

  • 1 lb
    lean ground turkey
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 3 Tbsp
    low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    vegeatable oil
  • 2 clove
    garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/2 - 1
    medium green bell pepper, diced
  • 1
    red onion small, diced
  • 14 1/2 oz
    can diced tomatoes
  • 2 c
    frozen spinach
  • 1 1/2 c
    cooked brown rice
  • 8 oz
    fresh mushroom slice or one can mushroom

How To Make turkey skillet

  • 1
    Heat skillet over medium heat. Brown the ground turkey about 5 minutes. Add Italian seasoning, and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, and cook an additional minutes. Transfer turkey to a paper towel lined plate to drain.

    Add vegetable oil, garlic, green pepper and red onion to skillet and sauté until tender. Add the remaining soy sauce, tomatoes, and mushrooms. Bring to a boil, and ten reduce to a simmer.

    Return the cooked turkey to pan. Add the spinach and heat until wilted. Season to taste and serve with browned rice. Serve 6 Cal 222 8g.Fat 19g carbs.
