Ingredients For turkey ham

    whole turkey
  • 1/2 c
    morton tender quick
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar

How To Make turkey ham

    Mix the Tender Quick and sugar with about i Qt. water Inject the brine into all parts of the bird.

    Store the brined bird in a cool place for at least a day. longer will not hurt.
  • 3
    Smoke according to your smokers directions. After a few hours you can stop adding wood chips and let the bird finish cooking.
