There are endless ways to grill ribs, chicken, pork etc. This one has a citrus twist to it and it is just finger-lickin' good!!!

Ingredients For spicy citrus ribs

  • 3 to 4 lb
    country-style ribs
  • 1 lg
    lemon, thinly sliced
  • 1 lg
    orange, sliced
  • 1 lg
    onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 c
    water
  • 2 c
    ketchup
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar, packed
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 2 tsp
    chili powder
  • 2 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 3 to 4 dash
    tabasco sauce

How To Make spicy citrus ribs

  • 1
    Place ribs in a shallow roasting pan, meaty side up.

    Place a slice of lemon, orange and onion on each rib.
  • 3
    Roast at 450 degrees for 20 minutes.

    Combine remaining ingredients in a medium sauce pan and bring to a boil.
  • 5
    Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs and reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees.

    Continue roasting for an hour longer, basting several times. Cook till fork tender.
