This is my grandmothers recipe that my mom used to cook for us growing up. You can manage your salt intake if you choose.

Ingredients For pork, pumpkin & long beans

  • 1 - 2 lb
    belly pork, cubed
  • 1 md
    tomato, cleaned & quartered
  • 1 md
    onion, chopped
  • salt & pepper, to taste
  • 1 sm
    japanese pumpkin, peeled & cubed
  • 2 pkg
    long beans (ootong), cut into bite size
  • 3 clove
    garlic, smashed & chopped
  • 1 Tbsp
    aloha shoyu (amino acid)

How To Make pork, pumpkin & long beans

    Fry pork until crispy then add garlic & fry then add salt & pepper. Add enough water to cover pork. Add tomato, shoyu & onion then boil until tomato becomes limp then add pumpkin & cook for 3 more minutes then cover & do not remove but leave on stove for about 1 hour(pumpkin will finish cooking in pot
