I have been making this dish for years.My kids like it so much that they ask me to make it all the time.This was the only way I got them to eat vegetables.

Ingredients For pork picata

  • 4-5
    pork chops
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 c
    fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 c
    white wine
  • 4 clove
    garlic, minced
  • salt and pepper
  • for the veges:
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 2 clove
    minced garlic
  • 2 stalk
    celery,chopped
  • 1 lg
    tomato,chopped
  • 1 c
    sweet peas,frozen

How To Make pork picata

    Pound the meat to make it thinner.Dip in a seasoned flour and fry on oil until slightly brown. Take it off of the pan and add 1 tablespoon of butter to the pan and fry the garlic. Add lemon juice and wine to the garlic.

    Add the meat ,cover and fry for another 5 minutes and turn it so it evenly cooks. If needed, add a little more lemon juice and wine to make more sauce.

    For the veges, fry 1 tablespoon butter and add garlic. Then, add the celery and simmer for 5 minutes. Add tomatoes and the peas.Season with salt and pepper.Serve with noodles.
