Why didn't I think of this myself? I adore pimiento cheese spread and I do like the occasional hot dog. It took Goodhousekeeping Magazine to jog my brain and taste buds with this recipe! Photo: 360perspective.wordpress.com

Ingredients For pimiento-cheese dogs

  • 4
    hot dogs
  • 4
    hot dog buns
  • 1 1/2 c
    shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 c
    minced jarred pimientos
  • 4 Tbsp
    mayonnaise
  • 1/2 tsp
    hot sauce (optional)

How To Make pimiento-cheese dogs

    In a medium bowl, mix the cheese, pimientos (drained), mayo and hot sauce.

    Spoon onto prepared hot dogs and enjoy!
