My Grandma was a wonderful Mennonite cook. For a Sunday meal she would have this, scalloped potatoes, baked corn pudding, Golden Glow jello salad/with dressing and Graham Cracker Pudding. Of course she had other vegetables and all her pickles she had made. You can make this in patties and between them in a baking dish you add a pineapple ring and follow baking instructions except you only need to cook an hour. Add the sauce after 30 minutes. We loved this in sandwiches when it was cold.

Ingredients For ham loaf

1 lbground fresh pork

1 lbground smoked ham

1 c1 cup bread crumbs, soft

1eggs
-
3/4 to 1 cmilk
-
1 tspsea salt
-
1/4 tspfreshly ground pepper
- FOR SAUCE
-
3/4 cbrown sugar
-
1 tspdry mustard
-
1/2 cwater
-
1/2 capple cider vinegar
How To Make ham loaf

1Have Butcher grind meat or do it at home. Mix all ingredients for the ham loaf.

2Shape in loaf and dust with flour than place the loaf in a roasting pan.

3Bake at 350 for about 1 1/2 hrs. After 1/2 hour pour the sauce over the loaf.

4For sauce simply mix all the ingredients and bring to a boil before pouring it over the loaf.
