Ingredients For glazed holiday ham

    (3 to 4 pound) fully cooked boneless ham
  • 1/2 c
    water
  • 24
    whole cloves
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounce) dark brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    spicy brown mustard
  • 1/2 c
    apple cider
  • 1/4 c
    bourbon
  • 1/2 c
    hot strong brewed coffee (optional)

How To Make glazed holiday ham

    Preheat oven to 325 degrees F Make shallow cuts on the top of the ham in a diamond pattern 1/2- inch deep. Push cloves into ham in a decorative pattern; place ham in a greased and foil lined 13 x 9- inch pan or roasting pan.

    Add 1/2 cup water to the pan. Combine brown sugar, mustard, cider, bourbon and coffee, stirring until smooth. Pour half of the glaze evenly over ham.

    Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, basting with remaining glaze every 20 minutes.
