Ingredients For caramel apple pork chops

    pork chops
  • 2
    tart apples cut into 1/8's
  • 2 tsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2 oz
    brandy (or chicken stock)
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp
    butter
  • 1/8 tsp
    ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp
    ground nutmeg
  • 3 Tbsp
    chopped pecans (optional)
  • salt and pepper to taste

How To Make caramel apple pork chops

    Directions: Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, add oil. Season chops with salt and pepper and place in hot pan. Brown chops on both sides add apples and brandy (or chicken stock). Cover and cook for 5 to 6 minutes, turning occasionally, or until done. Transfer chops to a dish leaving the apples in the pan, add into hot pan, brown sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir until sauce thickens and coats apples. Remove from heat and add butter stir till melted. Plate chops and spoon apples and sauce over top. Sprinkle with pecans. ENJOY!!
