This is a great recipe. I kinda cheat some and used mashed potato flakes. I got the recipe from a dear friend of mine amanda :)

Ingredients For skillet shepherd's pie

  • 1 lb
    ground beef
  • 2 c
    frozen corn, thawed
  • 2 Tbsp
    ketchup
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1 Tbsp
    flour
  • 3 1/2 c
    mashed potatoes
  • 1 c
    chopped onion
  • 2 c
    frozen peas, thawed
  • 1 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 c
    boiling water
  • 1/2 c
    sour cream
  • 3/4 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How To Make skillet shepherd's pie

    In a large skillet, cook beef and onion over medium heat until no longer pink, drain. Stir in corn, peas, ketchup, worcestershire sauce and garlic. Reduce heat; cover and simmer for 5 mins.

    Meanwhile, in a small bowl, dissolve bouillion cube in water. combine flour in sour cream till smooth, add to bouillion. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat. Spread the mashed potatoeson top, sprinkle with cheese. cover and cook till potatoes are heated through and cheese is melted.
