Ingredients For sassy ham & cheese sandwiches

  • 8 oz
    cream cheese
  • 2 tsp
    chopped fresh chives
  • 1 pinch
    dried thyme
  • 1 stick
    unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 Tbsp
    freshly grated onion
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated parmesan - reggiano cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 1 pkg
    hawaiian bread rolls (12 count)
  • 8 oz
    black forest ham, thinly sliced
  • 8 oz
    swiss cheese, thinly sliced

How To Make sassy ham & cheese sandwiches

    Preheat over to 350 degrees.

    In a small bowl, combine cream cheese, chives and thyme. Set aside.

    In a separate bowl, mix the butter, onions, parmesan cheese and worchester. Set aside somewhere warm so butter does not solidify.

    Cut rolls in half & divide ham & cheese equally among rolls. On top half of the roll, spread a generous amount of cream cheese - chive mix. Place tops on top of each sandwich bottom.

    Pour butter mixture over the top of sandwiches cover with foil and bake until cheese is melted, about 20 minutes. Uncover and bake 5 more minutes to brown the buns a bit.
