Ingredients For roasted oysters

  • 1
    bushel coon oysters (singles)
  • fried cornbread
  • dill pickles
  • vinegar and catsup, mixed
  • roaring brush fire
  • 10 oz
    bottled pepsi

How To Make roasted oysters

    Stack oak brush in a pile. Place washed oysters (in shell) on a wire grate on top of brush. Start fire. The grate needs to be made so oysters can be easily removed at desired doneness. Serve with Pepsi, cornbread, pickles, and sauce.
