being from Louisianna,I LOVE tasty seafood dishes. this is one of my easiest go to's. Just as tasty with shrimp or crawfish. this dish is wonderful prepared the day before, then put in your crock pot the next day and keep warm til ready to serve.

Ingredients For easy ettouffee

  • 1/2 c
    diced celery
  • 1/2 c
    diced bell pepper( red or green or combo of both)
  • 1
    small onion
  • garlic to taste (i use 3 or 4 cloves diced)
  • 2 lb
    shrimp or crawfish tails
  • 1 can
    cr.of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    cr. of celery soup
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes
  • 1 stick
    butter

How To Make easy ettouffee

  • 1
    saute your onion, celery, bell pepper and garlic in one stick of butter
  • 2
    add soups and rotel tomatoes. stir all together and heat slowly
  • 3
    add shrimp or crawfish and continue simmering for about 15 to 20 min. serve over cooked rice. add a salad or potato salad and some crusty french bread for a wonderful cajun meal!
