Ingredients For cabbage casserole

  • 4 c
    cooked cabbage drained & salted
  • 1 1/2 c
    corn flakes
  • 3/4 stick
    margarine
  • 1 can
    cream of celery soup
  • 1/2 c
    dukes mayonaise
  • 1 c
    milk
  • 1 c
    grated sharp cheese
  • salt and pepper

How To Make cabbage casserole

    Cook Cabbage just to wilt stage, crumble corn flakes with hands

    Mix soup, mayo, and milk in saucepan, heat until bubbly, then set aside off heat. Melt marg. mix with corn flakes and place in bottom of casserole dish, spread out to cover bottom.

    drain cabbage, and spread over corn flakes. Then pour soup mixture over cabbage, sprinkle with grated cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min. untill bubbly
