Ingredients For honey ginger duck

  • 1
    duck
  • 6 oz
    snap or snow peas
  • 2 tsp
    soy sauce
  • 2 tsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • orange for garnish (optional)
  • MARINADE
  • 2 c
    chicken stock
  • 1 tsp
    honey
  • 1 sm
    piece of green ginger
  • 1 Tbsp
    water
  • 1 Tbsp
    brandy
  • 3 tsp
    cornstarch

How To Make honey ginger duck

    Clean the duck well and pat dry. Prick the skin with a fork and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Rub duck with soy sauce. Fry on stove until golden brown on all sides.

    Put in dish and bake in 375 F oven for 1 hour, or until done (165 F internal). Remove the duck and keep it hot.

    Put marinade ingredients in a pan on stove and bring to the boil

    Pour over cooked duck. Serve with slices of oranges and snap peas.
