This dish can be prepared up to putting the sauce on and frozen or refrigerated (sauce separately) for later use. Just be sure to thaw chicken well before baking. It also can be easily a low-fat / diabetic friendly dish by using low-fat cheeses and 1/2 oil and butter . Its very easy yet presents beautifully. Accompanied by a salad and garlic bread. Easy enough for family dining, special enough for company !

Ingredients For chicken parmesan

4 mdchicken breasts, boneless/skinless and tenderized
-
1 czesty italian dressing
-
1 1/3 cflour, seasoned
-
1/3 cparmesan cheese
-
1-2 Tbspdried italian seasoning
-
1 1/2 cbuttermilk
-
2 Tbspbutter or margarine to fry breasts
-
2 Tbspolive oil, to add to butter for frying
- FOR SAUCE :
-
1 cancrushed tomatoes
-
1 1/2 Tbspchopped garlic (from a jar )
-
1/2 Tbsplemmon pepper
-
1/2 tspred pepper flakes ( or to taste )
-
1 tspdried parsley
-
1/3 tspsalt
-
1/3 citalian dressing
-
2 Tbspbalsamic vinegar
- MOZZARELLA CHEESE TO MELT ON TOP
How To Make chicken parmesan

1Marinade chicken breasts in Italian dressing at least 1 hour.

2Combine dry ingredients ...seasoned flour , Italian seasoning, parmesan cheese.

3Dip marinated chicken in dry ingredients

4Dip in buttermilk to coat

5Dredge again in dry ingredients ( for thicker crust repeat dipping in buttermilk and dry ingredients.

6Pan fry breasts in butter and olive oil until golden,flip and brown other side... Transfer to 8x13 baking dish

7In pan used for frying breasts add sauce ingredients and simmer for 10 min.

8Pour sauce over chicken breasts

9Bake in preheated 375*oven until breasts are cooked through (about 30 to 45 minutes depending on how thick and large the breasts are.)

10Add cheese the last 15 minutes to melt on top.
