little granny's meat balls

Recipe by

My mother made very good meat patties (She called them meatballs). They were like flattened meat balls. My children and my grandchildren loved them. Mother would not give me her recipe. Try as I might I couldn't duplicate her meat patties. After she died I found this recipe on a scrap of paper in her favourite cookbook. I think that her secret was the ground sage. When she got older she started to substitute ground chicken and turkey.I am including this recipe for my grandchildren as a remembrance of their "little granny".
