Ingredients For quick lasagna

  • 1/2 lb
    lean ground beef
  • 1 clove
    garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp
    italian seasoning
  • 1 c
    spaghetti sauce
  • 6
frozen precooked lasagna noodles (each about 8x2 1/2 inches)
  • 1
    container (12 ounces) reduced-fat cottage cheese (1 1/2 cups)
  • 1 c
    mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
  • 2 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese

How To Make quick lasagna

  • 1
Heat oven to 400 F. degrees. Cook beef and garlic in 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat 5 to 7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until beef is brown; drain. Stir Italian seasoning and spaghetti sauce into beef. Spread 1/4 cup meat sauce in ungreased square pan, 8x8x2 inches.
  • 2
Arrange 2 noodles on sauce, so they do not overlap or touch sides of pan. Spread about 1/2 cup of the remaining sauce over noodles. Spread about 1/2 cup cottage cheese over sauce. Sprinkle with about 1/3 cup mozzarella cheese.
  • 3
Repeat step 2 two times, using remaining noodles, sauce, cottage cheese and mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  • 4
Spray piece of aluminum foil large enough to cover square pan with cooking spray. Tightly cover pan with foil, sprayed side down. Bake 30 minutes. Carefully remove foil. Bake about 10 minutes longer or until lasagna is hot and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
