You need a good pot for grits with a good lid.Pour chicken broth, heavy whipping cream, butter, salt, pepper. Stay with it as the liquids begin to boil this is when you will add the grits,CUT THEM DOWN TO LOW and use a whisk to whisk any lumps out.Keep the whisk in a measuring cup with water so you can stir the grits off and on.Your going to want to let these grits cook slow and low for ad least and hour to get the right creamy constancy.

CHECK THE GRITS!! Fry bacon and drain, set a side.In the same pan cook both rolls of sausage and crumble up the sausage as your cooking it.As the sausage is cooking pat the bacon for excess grease and crumble. When the sausage is done, drain.Add back to your pot and add shrimp, cayenne pepper and bacon, chopped green onions.Add a pint of whipping cream and bring to boil.Cut down and serve over creamy grits.Sprinkle with cheese.Enjoy!!!
