Love Crab Cakes,but since i live in a small seasonal resort town,restaurants are closed during off season so i went into the kitchen,and came up with these..Hope you like them!

Ingredients For lilly's crab cakes

  • 1 lb
    cooked crab
  • 1/3 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 4 oz
    cream cheese
  • 2 tsp
    minced parsley
  • 1 tsp
    worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1/2 tsp
    dry mustard
  • 1/2 tsp
    red pepper flakes
  • 1
    egg
  • 3 Tbsp
    butter or margarine
  • tartar sauce or cocktail sauce
  • lemon wedges (garnish)

How To Make lilly's crab cakes

  • 1
    in large bowl,with fork,shred crab meat,add first eight ingredients,mix well, divide mixture into 8 equal portions.(balls)

    In large 12in skillet,over medium heat,add butter(or margarine).Place crab balls into hot buttered skillet,and lightly flatten into patties with spatula.Fry crab cakes until golden brown on both sides.Serve immediately.garnish with lemon wedge,tartar or cocktail sauce.
