I love the coleslaw on these subs, it gives the subs a nice crunch. Makes the subs healthier too!

Ingredients For hot tuna subs

  • 1-1/2 c
    coleslaw mix w.out dressing
  • 1
    9-1/4 oz can water-packed tuna, drained, flaked
  • 2 Tbsp
    lite mayonnaise
  • 2 Tbsp
    ken's creamy italian dressing or creamy ranch dressing, reduced-fat style
  • 2 lg
    sub rolls, split and toasted
  • 2 oz
    thinly sliced cheddar cheese

How To Make hot tuna subs

  • 1
    In bowl, mix together mayonnaise and salad dressing. In another bowl, mix together tuna and coleslaw mix. Toss tuna mix w/ mayonnaise mix until combined.

    Spread tuna mix evenly on the slices of bread. Place bread on a rack of a broiler pan. Heat oven to broil.

    Broil subs 4" from heat 2-3 mins. Top w/ cheese slices and broil 1 min, or until cheese is melted.
