Since everyone loves shrimp in my family, I made this a while back. It was great. Make sure you add a nice garden salad and garlic bread.

Ingredients For creole shrimp saute'

  • 1 Tbsp
    italian parsley, chopped
  • 4 slice
    thick cut bacon
  • 1 box
    angel hair pasta (i prefer linguinne)
  • shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 Tbsp
    blackening seasoning
  • 1 c
    fresh pre-diced tomatoes
  • 3/4 c
    white wine
  • 2 tsp
    minced garlic
  • 1/2 tsp
    crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 c
    scampi sauce
  • 1 Tbsp
    lemon juice, fresh

How To Make creole shrimp saute'

    Put water on to boil for pasta. Chop parsley. Cut bacon into bite size pieces.

    Place bacon in large saute' pan on medium high; cook and stir bacon for 5-7 minutes or until bacon is almost done. Cook pasta following instructions on box. Sprinkle shrimp with blackening seasoning and add to bacon. Cook for 1 minute. Stir in tomatoes, garlic, wine and pepper flakes. Cook 2-3 minutes or just until shrimp turn pink and opaque.

    Stir in Scampi sauce and lemon juice. Top with parsley and serve over pasta.
