    chicken breast halves, skinless and boneless
  • 1 lg
    onion, chopped
  • 1 can
    rotel tomatoes
  • 1 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can
    cream of chicken soup
  • 1 lb
    velvetta
  • 12
    corn tortillas, cut into strips
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • tortilla chips

How To Make king ranch chicken

    Boil chicken with a bouillon cube. Cut into bite size pieces; reserve broth.

    Combine rotel, soups, and velvetta in large bowl, microwave until smooth. Dip tortilla strips into chicken broth to soften.

    Layer chicken, tortillas, and soup mixture in a 9x13" pan.

    Bake at 350 for 40 minutes, then add crushed tortilla chips and shredded cheese and continue to bake until cheese is melted.

    Serve over crushed tortilla chips and top with sour cream.
