My mother made this recipe when I was a kid living in Ky. I never forgot this dish. Sever it for your family or guess,it looks like it was hard to make, but it isn't. Enjoy

Ingredients For creamy mommy's chicken

  • 1
    chicken
  • 1 c
    self-rising flour
  • 1 tsp
    salt and pepper
  • 3 can
    cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 1/2 c
    potato chips, crushed
  • 3 Tbsp
    vegetable oil or crisco

How To Make creamy mommy's chicken

    Use chicken cut up or use chicken breast boneless and skinless, they are both ok to use.

    mix flour and salt and pepper together.
  • 3
    place chicken in flour mixture to coat. place oil in skillet, when oil hot add chicken to brown on both sides.

    place chicken in 13"x9" baking pan. spread cream of mushroom soup on top of chicken (do not add anything to soup ) place crushed potatoe chips on top.

    bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour. Serve and enjoy.
