On lazy nights we just toss the whole thing together and serve it in bowls. I usually use one package spinach and one package whole grain tortellinis for color.

Ingredients For cheesy tortellini bowl

  • 1 1/2 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    onion powder
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    coriander, ground
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    celery salt
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    paprika, sweet mild
  • 2 lb
    chicken tenders
  • 3 Tbsp
    olive oil, extra virgin
  • 2 pkg
    tortellini, cheese stuffed
  • 1 pinch
    salt
  • 1 pkg
    country style gravy
  • 1 c
    water
  • 3/4 c
    skim milk
  • 5 dash
    black pepper
  • 1 c
    asiago cheese, grated
  • 1 c
    parmigiano-reggiano, grated
  • 1 bunch
    parsley, chopped

How To Make cheesy tortellini bowl

  • 1
    Combine garlic, onion, coriander, celery salt and paprika. Trim and cube tenders. Toss and refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

    Heat 2 tsp olive oil on medium high. Add chicken and fry until done and liquid is cooked off.

    Boil water with a pinch of salt and 1 tsp oil. Add tortellini and cook until done.

    Boil 1 cup water. Whisk 3/4 cups milk with gravy mix and pepper. Add mix to boiling water. Whisk until gravy is thick and creamy.

    Toss chicken and tortellinis, pour gravy over and dress with cheese and parsley.
