Ingredients For cheesy meltdown chicken casserole

  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) uncooked fettuccine
  • 1 Tbsp
    margarine
  • 1 c
    half and half
  • 1 pkg
    (8 ounces) cream cheese,cubed
  • 1 can
    (10-3/4 ounces) cheddar cheese soup,undiluted
  • 1 c
    sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 tsp
    garlic powder
  • 3/4 c
    grated asiago cheese
  • 1 c
    shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded colby jack cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded swiss cheese
  • 3/4 c
    crumbled blue cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded white cheddar cheese
  • 5 c
    sliced roasted chicken (any kind)
  • TOPPING
  • 3/4 c
    panko bread crumbs
  • 3 Tbsp
    grated parmesan cheese
  • 3/4 c
    shredded mild cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp
    margarine,melted

How To Make cheesy meltdown chicken casserole

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 2-1/2 qt. baking dish.

    Cook fettuccine according to package directions: drain.

    Heat margarine in a large saucepan over medium heat. Combine half and half, cubed cream cheese, soup, garlic powder, sliced mushrooms, and cheeses; cook and let it simmer for 8 minutes until cheeses melted. Remove from heat.

    Add sliced roasted chicken and cooked fettuccine; stir well until combined. Transfer to a baking dish.

    In a smal bowl, combine bread crumbs, parmesan and cheddar cheese and melted margarine; whisk together until blended.

    Sprinkle topping mixture over chicken mixture. Cover and bake at 350 for 25 minutes

    Uncover; bake 5-10 minutes longer or until golden brown.
