bacon b'b'qued chicken tenders and jus b'b'qued tenders

in pic 2 pieces on left are the bacon wrapped tenders, other side is jus b'b'qued tenders.... came up with this recipe after seein a couple on here...put 2 together for some awesome grilled chicken...hubby and i both were outside grillin....was to windy to eat out on our new picnic table :(......... lol this made 3 meals for hubby and i 2 went in freezer for later in month

Ingredients For bacon b'b'qued chicken tenders and jus b'b'qued tenders

  • first make b'b'que sauce
  • 1 jar
    [18 oz ] smokey brown sugar b'b'que sauce
  • 1/2 c
    sunny d orange drink
  • 1 tsp
    dried orange zest
  • 2 Tbsp
    garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp
    powdered smoke flavor
  • 1 pinch
    ceyenne pepper
  • several grinds fresh ground pepper
  • mix all this in lg zip bag shack well put in fridge

    recipe b'b'que sauce
  • 2 1/2 lb
    chicken tenders
  • 12 oz pkg
    bacon

How To Make bacon b'b'qued chicken tenders and jus b'b'qued tenders

    night before or in mornin make b'b'que sauce put in fridge count pieces of bacon in pkg... cut tenders in 1/2 to have enough pieces for all bacon... add cut tenders into b'b'que in AM...put in fridge...

    fire up grill...remove tenders from sauce...place any tender that were not used into sauce set aside[check and flip a couple times]

    take 1/2 ed tender and wrap with a piece of bacon.. pt toothpick into bacon to hold in place put a lg platter.... do the rest...pour some of the b'b'que sauce on

    when grill is ready put non bacon wrapped tender on grill cook several min[depends on temp of grill]flip over add more of sauce to tenders. also put bacon wrapped tenders on grll cook several min moreflip bacon wrapped cook a few min more remove other tenders to platter... remove bacon wrapped from grill to platter dizzle any sauce left over all.... we had this with macless mac salad and baked potato with sour cream
