This Meat Loaf came from my Grandma's church cookbook. My Mom made this all the time as I grew up. Now I'm making it for my family. This is one dinner that my husband and all three boys love. There is never any leftovers with this meal!

Ingredients For tangy and sweet meat loaf

  • 1 1/2 lb
    ground beef
  • 2/3 c
    evaporated milk
  • 1
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    ritz cracker crumbs (approx. 10 crackers)
  • 1/4 c
    chopped onions
  • 1 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • 1/4 tsp
    pepper
  • SAUCE
  • 3 Tbsp
    brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 tsp
    nutmeg
  • 1/4 c
    ketchup

How To Make tangy and sweet meat loaf

    Mix ingredients and form into a loaf. Top with sauce and bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.

    Tip: I usually double the recipe for the "SAUCE". That way there is plenty to spread on the meat loaf and some extra for the kids to use as dip!
